From 2013 to 2015, Raúl Bartolomé served as Resident Project Manager for Electrical/Electronic systems in Shenyang, China, during Magna Steyr’s complete vehicle development of the Brilliance Huasong 7 MPV. He coordinated between Magna Steyr Austria, Brilliance Automotive, and BMW, overseeing supplier integration, testing, and troubleshooting. The Huasong 7, launched in 2014 with BMW’s N20 turbo engine, became the first BMW-powered MPV in China and a milestone in Brilliance’s expansion into the premium segment.
