Se discuten factores institucionales tales como sistemas pol\u00edticos, sistemas legales, derechos de propiedad y sistemas econ\u00f3micos. El an\u00e1lisis identifica la PI y la corrupci\u00f3n como temas cr\u00edticos.<\/p>\n<p>Hofstede proporciona un marco cultural de 6 dimensiones para identificar las brechas culturales entre Filipinas y Alemania. Se eval\u00faa el individualismo, la masculinidad, la evitaci\u00f3n de la incertidumbre y la indulgencia. Para las mayores brechas culturales, distancia de poder y orientaci\u00f3n a largo plazo, se brinda asesoramiento enfocado para minimizar el riesgo.<\/p>\n<p>De la constelaci\u00f3n de modos de entrada de IED, se analizan los m\u00e1s apropiados para la empresa: contratos de I+D, IJV, green-fields y M&amp;A. Despu\u00e9s de un an\u00e1lisis sistem\u00e1tico, se sugiere IJV, sin embargo, seg\u00fan la estrategia de la empresa, podr\u00edan ser mejores campos verdes o fusiones y adquisiciones.<\/p>\n<p>La mejor estructura de organizaci\u00f3n es una organizaci\u00f3n matricial derivada de la estrategia transnacional y la naturaleza de las operaciones de proyectos de ingenier\u00eda. This study stresses the importance of institutional and cultural factors for a successful FDI. It is discussed institutional factors such as political systems, legal systems, property rights, and economical systems. The analysis identifies IP and corruption as critical issues.  Hofstede provides a 6 dimension cultural framework to identify cultural gaps between Philippines and Germany. It is evaluated individualism, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance and indulgence. For biggest cultural gaps, power distance and long term orientation it is provided focused advice to minimize risk.  From the constellation of entry modes for FDIs, it is analysed the most appropriated for the firm: R&amp;D contracts, IJV, green-fields and M&amp;A. After a systematic analysis, it is suggested IJV, however based on company\u2019s strategy might be better green-fields or M&amp;A.  The best organization structure is a matrix organization derived from transnational strategy and the nature of engineering projects operations. This is a challenging organization that brings the maximum flexibility.  Formal control mechanisms are suggested divided in 2 tiers: line organization and project level.
